TRAVEL - What to expect

DCFC offers a competitive level for youth players through our travel soccer program. Based in Muncie/Yorktown Indiana, DCFC competes against clubs from the surrounding areas. The typical travel schedule includes 2-3 practices per week along with regularly scheduled games. Players are given the opportunity to work with knowledgeable, experienced coaches to further enhance both individual skills and teamwork.

The DCFC travel programs are broken into three different age groups: Academy, Junior, and Senior. Below is a quick description of each of these groups.

The club soccer year is designed to be a full year or 1/2 year program.  The fall season runs August through November.  The spring season runs January through Early June.  Most players are full year players, but we do offer half year options.

ACADEMY

• Typical age range: 6–10 years
• Program focused on player development

JUNIOR

• Typical age range: 10–14 years
• Player selection based on past performance or open tryouts
• 8–10 league games per outdoor season
• 1–2 tournaments per outdoor season

SENIOR

• Typical age range: 14–19 years
• Player selection based on past performance or open tryouts
• 8–10 league games per outdoor season
• 1–2 tournaments per outdoor season

FIELDS

League games are typically played in Yorktown Indiana or nearby communities including: Carmel, Noblesville, Brownsburg, Fishers, Lawrence, Bargersville, etc.

*Teams playing in higher divisions may have more travel.
