Savannah Posey: “Soccer taught me
confidence, teamwork, and discipline both on and off the field. It taught me to live life to its
fullest. Never give up, and you'll have
no regrets.”
Savannah was a positive
and pleasant part of our community for many years. She and her family have been, and are,
positive and respected members of our soccer community. Savannah loved soccer. She wore a smile on her face and she was always
quick with a kind word to those around her.
It is her love of soccer and her positive approach to the sport that we
wish to forever remember with this award.
Savannah passed away on July
23, 2012 and left behind a grieving family and soccer community. She was 16 years of age and was taken by an undetected
and rare health disorder.
