Our Mission

"To provide soccer players in Delaware County and surrounding areas the opportunity to play soccer in a supportive and rewarding environment that emphasizes fun, enjoyment and skill learning at a level that fits his/her interest and ability, and to develop challenging and competitive travel teams for soccer players who aspire to reach their full potential.”

The Delaware County Futbol Club (DCFC) was established in 2009 as the combination of the StarSoccer and Delaware County United soccer clubs.  We are an affiliate of Indiana Soccer and a nonprofit 501c(3) organization.  We have two (2) robust outdoor soccer facilities, one in Yorktown and the other at the Muncie SportsPlex that serve, not only Delaware County, but the better part of East Central Indiana.  These facilities help support our growing recreational, travel and adult programs.  DCFC believes that certain costs are necessary to support a competitive program but that they should never be a barrier to the wishes of any child, therefore, DCFC also offers scholarships to make it possible for more children to play recreational and club soccer.

DCFC provides area youth with training in the many aspects of the game of soccer.  We strive to develop self-discipline, dedication, and confidence in each athlete.  In order to achieve these goals, DCFC's service extends beyond practice and game time.  DCFC, in conjunction with the state ‘parent’ association, supports goalie training, the Olympic Development Program, coaching seminars, and field trips to professional soccer games.

DCFC is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501c(3) organization dedicated to teaching the game of soccer to the youth of Delaware County, Indiana. An interested child can participate in one of three programs depending on their age, interest, and level of skill.  The recreation program is specifically designed for younger children ages 3 to 14 to foster exercise, healthy competition, and basic soccer skills.  The travel program is for children ages 8-17 who wish to play at a more competitive level.

There are several factors that separate DCFC from other clubs. DCFC works hard to be cost effective.  For example, while striving to compete with some of the state’s best clubs a DCFC travel player pays less than one half of that compared to players who participate with clubs in Indianapolis, Carmel, Ft. Wayne, South Bend, or Noblesville.  A DCFC recreational player also pays less than the players who participate in top notch programs associated with those same clubs.  DCFC believes that certain costs are necessary to support a competitive program but that they should never be a barrier to the wishes of any child, therefore, DCFC also offers scholarships to make it possible for more children to play recreational and club soccer.  These programs provide a well-rounded experience for children and help to foster a lifetime love of soccer.
